MAIN UNIFORM

 

Years 7, 8, 9

or the PTA shop.  All students are required to have embroidered initials on the PE polo shirt, skort, Gym/dance t- shirt and hoodie.

Embroidered initials should be in maroon (blue on t-shirt) on the upper LHS of the chest. Simmonds offer this service May to mid-August. You may arrange your own embroidery.

Please enquire at Simmonds regarding the size and style of the embroidered initials.

Year 10

Year 11

  • School regulation black skirt**  (last year group to wear this skirt)

  • Burgundy jumper with school logo and gold trim**

  • Summer dress** - sold in one length (measurement taken from the nape). Students may wear the summer dress in Terms 5 and 6

SPORTS UNIFORM

OUTDOOR KIT

  • Navy/maroon polo shirt **
  • Navy/maroon skorts **
  • Navy tracksuit bottoms with logo **
  • Navy/maroon sports hoodie **
  • Navy hockey socks (winter), white trainer socks (summer)
  • Trainers with non-marking soles
  • Shin pads and gum shield (compulsory for Years 7-9)

INDOOR KIT

  • Black cotton leggings

OTHER

  • Navy/black base layers/skins/leggings to be worn under kit when outside (optional)
  • Robust PE bag
  • Hair bands/white ear tape

OTHER ITEMS

  • Plain white knee, ankle or trainer socks or plain black tights
  • Waterproof winter coats. It is not acceptable to wear denim jackets; leather jackets; hoodies; sweatshirts; knitwear or an extra jumper instead of a coat
  • Plain black formal polishable shoes (black trainers/canvas/Vans style shoes are not permitted). Heels should be black and of a suitable height. No platforms, sling backs, stiletto or kitten heels. Ballet pumps and boots are not acceptable. If your daughter has a medical condition meaning she is unable to wear school shoes, please provide a copy of the relevant note from a medical professional

JEWELLERY AND HAIR

  • Jewellery may be permitted with respect to certain medical conditions or religious beliefs. Parents or carers should request permission in writing from the Head of Year
  • Body piercing (including lip/nose/eyebrow/tongue piercing) is not acceptable
  • Only plain stud earrings are permitted
  • False nails, false eyelashes, eyelash extensions and nail varnish should not be worn. Make up should appear natural
  • No extreme hairstyles or colours – hair should be neat, clean and tidy and tied back where possible. Hairbands should be plain in colour or a Weald scrunchie

SKIRT LENGTH

Skirts and dresses should be worn just on or just above or below the knee.

Located at Tonbridge, visiting parents should report to school reception to sign in and obtain directions. Opening times: 12:30–13:30 every Tuesday during term time. The Uniform Shop now offers 30% cashback on uniform sold. When sending in uniform, please use the Uniform Recycling Slip, which can be found on the school website.
