Year 7 Entry 2026 and National Offer Day 2 March 2026
If you have been offered a place at Weald of Kent Grammar School please note the information below:
- Acceptance/refusal should be made via the Applicaa Portal by 16 March.
- Declined Offers must be made via the Applicaa Portal and cannot be accepted over the phone.
- Weald of Kent welcome letters and registration instructions will be emailed to families by 4 March.
- Induction Day for 2026 entry will be Thursday 2 July, in common with many West Kent schools and information will be made available in due course.
- First day of term in September for Year 7, 10 & 12 is Thursday 3 September 2026.
If you have not been offered a place at Weald of Kent, you may wish to consider the following information:
- Waiting list – children will be automatically placed on the waiting list for any higher preferences than the school offered if you come under KCC LA.
- Review your offer letter from your Local Authority and follow their instructions regarding waiting lists for any school you wish to be re-considered for.
- Information on appeals is available on the Weald of Kent Website here.
- Any declined places will be filled via KCC’s Reallocation on 23 April 2026.
Please note that we do not have access to the waiting list until after 23 April.
