An Insight into Politics

During our politics trip on Monday 4^th November, we were fortunate enough to be able to visit the Houses of Parliament and have a tour around. Once there, we were allowed to sit in and listen to debates in both the House of Commons and House of Lords. We even saw a glimpse of David Cameron! We also had a unique session with the Tonbridge MP Tom Tugendhat who was happy to answer all of our questions (some of his answers I must say, didn't sit well with some of the group!). It was very informative and interesting, as well as giving us an enhanced insight into the professional political world.

Cricketing Success

On Monday 15th July the U15 cricket team played against Bishop Thomas Grant, Rosebery School and Tonbridge Grammar school in the chance to compete regional final at Sidcup Cricket Club. They batted and bowled brilliantly, making it to the final against Rosebery. It was a tightly-fought contest but Weald took the victory! Well done to all involved, it was a great day.
