On Monday 21st March, six Year 10 and Year 11 Students, who had expressed an interest in the Armed Forces, visited Tonbridge Grammar School.
They watched a Chinook helicopter land on the school field and were able to tour the inside of the helicopter and speak to the pilots. We then listened to presentations from both TGS students about the flight simulator they are designing, and women in the RAF who spoke about their careers in the forces and engineering.
Finally Students watched the Chinook take off and circle the grounds. It was an inspiring afternoon.
