Rosemary Shrager Visits WoK

Mrs Watkins, teacher of Food Technology and her Year 10 students were delighted once again to welcome celebrity chef Rosemary Shrager together with chef and apprenticeship tutor Jason Main to Weald of Kent.

Rosemary once again provided an inspirational talk, full of insight into the world of cookery and the food industry. She talked of her passion for food and delight in fulfilling her dream of opening a cookery school in the Pantiles in Tunbridge Wells which offers a range of courses suitable for everyone.

Jason gave a skilled demonstration, involving several students, making fresh tortelloni with goat’s cheese and thyme infused cream with a beetroot jelly followed by a glorious lemon chocolate cheesecake.

Rosemary commented several times how she was “very impressed” with the quality of teaching and resources at Weald of Kent.
